CMS ~ Going Away Party ~

 

 

As many of you know, we have Active Duty Canteeners. Most of you have had the opportunity to interact with them.

Today we begin a *Going Away Party* for The Canteen Little Brother. CMS is leaving for Iraq again. The picture you see above is of CMS during his last *desert vacation*.

Please help us in the Canteen send off one of our own in style.
Thank you for everything CMS! Thank you for your service to America. We'll be here whenever you need us. Don't forget.

And don't forget to send an address our way. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Just as the rest of our Active duty are.

We'll throw a huge party when you return! You can bank on that!

Seven "Ones"

Read:
Ephesians 4:1-7

[Endeavor] to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. —Ephesians 4:3

Have you ever worked at a job where you felt a strong bond with your co-workers? Perhaps you were united by a sense of mission, or by a respect for your boss, or by the belief that a prosperous company will benefit everyone financially. The more points of agreement among members of a group, the more they will be unified, the better they will perform, and the less likely they will be to fight among themselves.

Christians have a built-in list of unifiers that can keep them working together with a oneness of spirit. In Ephesians 4:4-6, Paul listed seven uniting "ones." Think of how helpful they can be to any group of believers working together on the same project:

One body—we are a single family unified for one purpose
One Spirit—we all have the Spirit as our power source
One hope—we all look forward to the same future
One Lord—we all trust the same Person in charge
One faith—we all trust Jesus' sacrifice for our salvation
One baptism—we all have a single identity
One God and Father—we all share the same source of our existence

What a difference it would make if we all could dwell on those seven "ones." —Dave Branon

Our hearts in Christian love!
The fellowship of kindred minds

What can I say?  You are one amazing guy to be going over there again and doing this for us!  You have done so much already and yet you sought out to go again?  Our country is the great place to live that it is because of men (yes - I said MEN - LOL!!!) like you.  You make me so stinking proud!!  I wish I could give you a big old hug around your neck!  You take care of yourself and come home again safe, you hear?  We love you and we've got your back.  Anything you need, you just let us know.  And check in once in a while, ok??  *BIG PROUD HUGS!*  I am so proud to know you.
