Hadn't seen this posted previously.

Interesting in light of Al-Douri's recently announced "death" and the long running chant of the left denying any Saddam / al-Qaeda link.

This is old news.

The libs have written it off as "lies" by Allawi.

We all know there's a connection between Hussein and Al-Qaeda. Everyone has known this. Some just choose to ignore it because it doesn't fit their agenda.

"and the long running chant of the left denying any Saddam / al-Qaeda link"

And they'll keep right on doing it as long as their democratic friends in the msm let them.
Please don't confuse them with the facts.

1.Nail all the facts down.

2.Document everything.

3.Get Allawi on a plane to Washington.

4.Hold a national press conferance with the President.

5.Watch the left squirm.

I heard an interview with Bill Bennett this morning...he was interviewing Stephen Hayes of Weekly Standard...

Hayes said he has filed numerous freedom of information acts petitions to see the "millions of pages of Iraqi intelligence and weapons" that were found after the fall of Baghdad...

He has been unsuccesful...but he swears that if we could get access to those papers..it would PROVE Saddams relation to AQ...

The number two of the al-Qaeda network, Ayman al-Zawahiri, visited Iraq under a false name in September 1999 to take part in the ninth Popular Islamic Congress, former Iraqi premier Iyad Allawi has revealed to pan-Arab daily al-Hayat.

No, no. This can't be right. We all know that Al Qaeda had nothing to do with Iraq until we went to war there. /s

I always figured the commie leftists have self interest in planting the lie there was no Saddam / al-Qaeda link.

Old Hillry could not have with a straight face read her prepared statement to Rummy on world TV were that link acknowledged.
