It’s Jihad, Idiot!
The Spain Herald ^ | November 14, 2005 | Pablo Molina

Posted on 11/14/2005 7:37:40 AM PST by reelfoot

Now that French Muslims have proposed the wholesale renewal of their infidel neighbors’ stock of cars, it would be interesting to revisit the teachings of the Koran, just to see how many spiritual points destroying a Christian or Jew’s car is worth.

The left-wing intelligentsia seems to have found the root of the structural hate followers of the “religion of peace” profess for the West: exclusion, inequality, a sea of injustice; in short, evil neo-liberalism. It is even more humorous to accuse capitalism of France’s woes when it is the EU member state with more barriers to the free market than any other. If France is the perfect model of anything, it is that of a country with high taxes, and huge state sponsored wealth redistribution, the main characteristics of an omnipresent Welfare State. Today’s progressives are just repeating the same anti-capitalism criticism they made on the eve of Vicente Fox’s victory in Mexico, when Marcos, in his facemask and smoking his pipe, went on tour to denounce neo-liberal oppression of indigenous peoples –the country the PRI dictatorship had turned into a political model of advanced socialism for its European comrades to follow.

Considering the left in general is immune not only to rigorous analysis but to simple observation if it contradicts its dogma, it will never accept that behind the French Muslims’ savage Molotov cocktail plan is an innate hatred of everything that even smells Western or, better yet, civilized.

If the rioters assaulting shops and burning cars were pushed to these acts by economic desperation, they would not celebrate shouting “Allah Akbar”. Instead of churches and synagogues, they would burn bank offices. And they would not avoid damaging other Muslims’ businesses, but would probably focus their resentment on them more than on any other as traitors to their class.

Let’s admit it, what is going on in France fulfills all the classic premises of Jihad. If not the Union of French Islamic Organizations would not have issued a fatwa against rioting. Multiculturalism is turning the French into a nation of pedestrians. And if this example spreads to the rest of Europe, politicians are going to be left without any arguments for making us comply with the Kyoto Protocol. Who know is this is not what really has them worried.

A Spaniard that gets it.

Let's hope more Spaniards and Frenchmen like Mr. Molina will speak out before it's too late for Spain and France.

More like a nation of peasants if you ask me. France is returning to its 18th century roots: A ruling class and its servants.

The guy passed right over this without drawing the obvious conclusion.

A well-reasoned point that cannot be gainsaid.

From the article:

"Considering the left in general is immune not only to rigorous analysis but to simple observation if it contradicts its dogma, it will never accept that behind the French Muslims’ savage Molotov cocktail plan is an innate hatred of everything that even smells Western or, better yet, civilized."

This guy is not only not in denial but has sized up the Islamo-threat nicely. The question is whether the average Frenchie or Spainard in the street sees it this way or if instead they buy the "Muslim victimhood" (lack of opportunities, not enough government services, need to integrate into native society, etc.) pushed by their One-World leaders and news outlets.

Do you request others to shut up while speaking up yourself at every possible occasion?
- Do you ask others to respect agreements while systematically flaunting them yourself?
- Do you think Hitler was bad but Napoleon was good?
- Do you think De Gaulle liberated France?
- Do you vote for corrupt thieves and/or liars?
- Are you proud when companies from your country buy businesses abroad but you are opposed to the sale of your national companies to foreigners?
- Do you think a nation with a GDP 4 times less than yours should financially contribute more to the EU than your own country?
- Have you ever heard of Jacques Attali?
- Do you think 2 weeks of rioting and thousands of cars burnt, not mentioning schools etc., constitute "some isolated incidents"?
- Do you call Iraq an invasion and Ivory Coast a peacekeeping mission?
- Do you think healthcare and education are free because you never received a detailed bill with those items on them?
- Do you think Chirac and Sarkozy are right-wing politicians?
- Can you name two people who made poetry about seagulls?
- Do you think the UN should have more power and responsibilities?
- Do you approve of a commission deciding what words you may use and which ones should be excluded from your language?
- Do you think mimolette is a Dutch cheese?
- Is Total-Elf just a normal oil company in your opinion?
- Is Strasbourg the capital of the EU?
- Did Lance Armstrong dope himself?

If you answered "yes" to one question, you are possibly French.
If you answered "yes" to two questions, you are probably French.
If you answered "yes" to three questions or more, you are almost certainly French.

The Left invariably sides with its society's enemies. That's because the Left harbors as much contempt for its society as its enemies do.

Would it be appropriate for the UN to rescue the French and stop this French Jihad?

Would it be to the long term advantage for the US to invade/occupy France again?

I don't hate the French, Spanish, Germans, etc.... I do hate Islamic and other Terrorists.

I'm reading an old books by Horowitz called "60s the destructive generation". His assertion is that the new left always has at their defense "the devil (America) made me do it". So, although Communism destroyed Cambodia, it was all planned in advance by evil capitalist Americans to discredit Socialism.

Perhaps that explains the left's dreamy alliance with radical Islam? The fact that women's rights are abused is not the fault of these evil regimes, but the fault of American imperialism. Or imperialism in general. If France and England didn't colonize Palestine and Persia, we would have enlightened regimes in the middle east. Or so leftist ideology would have us accept.
