Your article sums up my frustrations very well. I sometimes wonder what would be different if the winners were reversed - Would we have even more porous Borders, would deficit spending and Pork be more out of control, and a whole lot of other problems that the vast majority of Americans want addressed be worse? I don't know but the fact that I'm asking the question is telling.

I don't know but the fact that I'm asking the question is telling.

Better than the loyalists that ask no questions.

Also telling is the fact that the most conservative commentators in our country had to fight the President for 3 weeks on the Miers nomination before it was rescinded. It was the last thing any of them ever wanted to do.

But Americans who believe in principles over persons need to fight harder during this administration than they/we anticipated.

Your paragraph best summed up my feeling, thank you.

I like President Bush, but so much left undone.

In Texas they have a phrase if believe can aptly be applied.

"All hat and no cattle"
