PARIS — France declared a state of emergency Tuesday to quell the country's worst unrest since the student uprisings of 1968 that toppled a government, and the prime minister said the nation faced a "moment of truth" over its failure to integrate Arab and African immigrants and their children.

Arabs in France have no reason to try and integrate.

They get everything for free.

Housing.
Medical treatments.
Pay check for doing nothing.
Allowed to have 4 wives 18 children.
Mosques being built in every corner, paid for by the governmemt.even though the law says it is forbiden.

Arabs in France complain not because of segregation but they want to take over.

The Poor Youths in their NIKE gears latest mobile phone are abusing a very generous system.

And was Saddam Insane Chirac's Sugar Daddy?
The Chirac Doctrine

by Olivier Guitta

http://www.meforum.org/article/772

"...The two first met in December 1974 when Prime Minister Chirac visited Baghdad to negotiate trade agreements, including the delivery of a nuclear reactor later destroyed by an Israeli air raid in 1981. When Hussein visited France the following September-his only visit to a Western country-then-prime minister Chirac said, "I welcome you as my personal friend. I assure you of my esteem, my consideration, and my affection."

"Resigning from government in 1976, Chirac founded the Rassemblement pour la Republique, which would soon become France's largest political party. There remain persistent rumors that Hussein helped finance the party, supported by allegations by Lebanese arms merchant Sarkis Soghanalian and by various Iraqi politicians... [snip]

Good one! Check out my new tag line.

"...its failure to integrate Arab and African immigrants and their children."

You can lead a camel to water, but you can't make it drink. Why not try more socialism? France is too conservative. Everyone knows that.

Chirac was so desperate for help that he called his longtime friend and supporter, Gov Blanco of LA for help and ideas. She told him she needed 24 more hours.

It looks like the French are REALLY winning this war on terror! NOT.

I'm shocked that the crazies in France didn't stop after the gubmnt declared they were going to get tough and declare an "emergency".
Then Chirac went out and waved a white flag.

The Poor Youths in their NIKE gears latest mobile phone are abusing a very generous system.

The French can solve this problem if they are willing to take the heat in the international community. Step One is to announce forthwith that they have a two-tier citizenship system, that Sons of France are full citizens and the immigrants and children of immigrants are Citizens of the Empire. Step Two is to announce forthwith that no transfer payments, entitlements, housing, welfare or medical care will be paid to Citizens of the Empire as long as they continue to live in France, but will be paid according to the current formulas for any who move back to their country of origin.

Faced with actually supporting themselves in France or living on the dole in Algeria, your typical disaffected loser is going to opt for sunshine and the beach. The productive class that will remain is already halfway down the road to integration.

Then eliminate immigration and dynamite the slums. Problem solved, and nobody got hurt! They would take a huge hit in national prestige for this, but if the situation forces their hand, they might.

It's time for a Paristanian Homeland! Time for the French to be pressed for the same solution they've been shoving down the Israeli's throats all these years.

The Justice Ministry said curfew violators could face up to two months imprisonment and a $4,400 fine. Minors face one month imprisonment.

Ou La La, one month imprisonment. THAT will stop them for sure!

"Must be my Teutonic impulses, but I'm overcome with Schadenfreude."

What's best for France in the long term? They've needed a wakeup call for a long time, haven't they? Deep down, your joy is founded in hope. You hope that France will WAKE UP.

We had a wakeup call with 9-11. We, in the US, may need another wakeup call before we do what needs to be done. That's the way life is. Solomon said frequently that the only thing a fool understands is a good beating. And when you think about it, people are eager for that learning process to begin. When that fool, after years of driving everyone nuts, finally gets a good beating, people are going to smile.

"Images of teenagers from immigrant families pelting riot police with stones and gasoline bombs — reminiscent of Palestinian youths attacking Israeli patrols — are striking a cord throughout the Arab world."

Finally Fox News makes the comparison in the MSM. Still very little on CNN. Maybe they need to send over Anderson Cooper to boost his ratings ;-p
