Reports of the arrest of seven suspected Muslim terrorists has 27 percent of the nation negative towards Muslim immigrants

More than one in four Danes has become more suspicious of Muslims in Denmark after reports of seven young Muslims being arrested on terror suspicion, daily newspaper Urban reported on Monday. Accoring to an opinion poll conducted by Instant-Answer for the newspaper, 27 percent of 1500 respondents said the arrest of the seven suspects had changed their opinion of Muslims in Denmark for the worse.

'It's grotesque to lump all Muslims together and conclude that all Muslims are either terrorists or sympathise with them,' said Niels-Erik Hansen, leader of the Documentation and Consultation Centre on Racial Discrimination. 'It's a dangerous development and a sign that there is a growing breeding ground for racism in the country.

Well, when fellow muslims take up arms to fight against the terrorists in their midst and also start turning them in to authorities in large numbers I will begin to not associate all muslims with terrorism and terrorists.

Until then, I cast suspicion on all of them. Including the few I personally know.

The number is closer to 90%, but many fear the PC Police will come knocking on their doors if discovered to be "racists".

THE LITTLE NATION THAT COULD Take a country called Denmark. Shape it into the shape of Virginia. Toss your reshaped Denmark over the US state of Virginia. You get a pretty close fit: Virginia is a bit bigger.

Virginia is also small enough to take 35th ranking in the US state size stakes.

You get the point: for a country, Denmark is tiny.

But yesterday, Denmark showed it had the heart of a lion.

A Danish newspaper ran caricatures of the Muslim Prophet. 10 Arab ambassadors asked for a meeting with the Danish foreign minister to protest.

The foreign minister said he would not meet with them. He had no power over the press, but in any event, even meet the Arab ambassadors would negate the very idea of Denmark.

For the record, we condemn the caricaturing. Muslims are particularly sensitive to any human-made depiction of the Prophet. It is not political correctness that everyone respect everyone else's religion. What we object to is when people get offended when Christianity is the religion in question, but that's not relevant here.

May we request that Muslims everywhere show the same respect to other peoples' religions, including Indian religions, as they expect for Islam? Then maybe we can all just get along.

YOU GOT THAT RIGHT In the middle of a story about the deprivations of the Muslim immigrants to French cities that was so sad we ran out of toilet paper wiping our eyes and nose, and will have to use the Washington Post to wipe our behind, the BBC says: "Although some complain that their voices are never heard, as we tried to speak to local residents, we were told at one point to leave the area or risk being attacked."

How did that piece of reality escape the copy editor? Imagine the cheek of the reporter. He should be fired for telling the truth.

From Orbat.com, a little acerbic chutney!

Gee what a closed minded group of people. Just because Mussies all over the world are blowing people up , they start being suspicious of the Muslim neighbors.

I never really knew Muslims were a race though. Are Jews a race too? You mean I cant be a Muslim if I am black or white or Asian? Damn and all this time I thought there were African, Black ,Arab and Asian Muslims with maybe a few really stupid White American traitors thrown in.

'It's grotesque to lump all Muslims together and conclude that all Muslims are either terrorists or sympathise with them,'

Pretty much sounds like the Danes of the 1930s.

'It's grotesque to lump all GERMANS together and conclude that all GERMANS are either NAZIS or sympathise with them,'

>>>'It's a dangerous development and a sign that there is a growing breeding ground for racism in the country.>>>

So these Danes have seen terrorism around the world by Muslims, and now riots and murder, destruction of property, etc.. and THEY are the wrong ones because they fear them?

Stupid stupid people. This jacka** reminds me of the fella that loved grizzly bears so much and wanted to dispel the myth of how bad they were. Of course he became a grizzly's lunch...

Very strange that of the Documentation and Consultation Centre on Racial Discrimination is more concerned with racism against muslims but could care less that most muslims hate non-muslims. Very hypocritical. People are getting more and more disgusted with this type of thinking. Yes, racism is wrong, and should be prevented, but this mix up of priorities will cause a backlash against both muslims and these anti-racism organizations. They need to hold the muslims accountable before trying to sell their compatriots this collective western guilt complex.

I also don't trust ANY of them. I know that the nice, quiet Muslim, well-mannered Info-technician in my office would slit my throat the first chance he gets (I'm also a Jew!)

I can only imagine the peaceful things he is told in his mosque about America.

What's this guy's proof of any of this? There isn't a high profile organization, group, or even band of merry men, out there that is muslim that is doing a damn thing that can be considered effective in assisting with "solving" "muslim/Islam problem." That sounds pretty sypathetic to me, even if only indirectly/passively.

Part II: Yeah, it's a dangerous development if you're a terrorist or are sympathetic, whether directly or indirectly, to this crap. Otherwise it's a sigh of relief and a breath of fresh air as it were. There's a "breeding ground" for a zero-tolerance policy for people, ...AHEM...muslims...that simply can't seem to live in peace with ANYONE around the entire globe!

Unless of course Mr. Hansen would like to suggest that all such people committing such acts of violence and quasi-terrorism are all, ...choke/gulp...of one race, ...say Arabs or muslims. Hmmm! Tough one, eh Mr. Hansen!

Twenty-five years ago in Denmark, people I knew "felt sorry" for the US's racial problems caused by having so many races. My friends admitted that because Denmark was just about 95% Danish, they had no problem being quite liberal.

I'm sure they've done a 180 but, as you say, because of the PC police, they wouldn't admit it in a public forum. You can be quite sure that they talk about it in private and hopefully their elections will reflect their "discrimination" agains muslims.

So, since we didn't see blacks in LA "take up arms" and start turning the rioters "in to authorities in large numbers ", you must have associated all blacks with rioters.

Hmmmm.... that means 73% of Danes are still living in a Hans Christian Anderson fairy tale.
