I'm beginning to think that ANY post containing the word "school" now serves as grounds for holier-than-though homeschoolers to bash the rest of us that have our kids in public schools.
Not all homeschooling parents, mind you, just those who are so much better and smarter than the rest of us, and whom must post their belief on internet forums to maintain their feelings of superiority.
No need to start a flame war. Is that necessary?
Now, use the fact that I mistakenly typed "though" instead of "thou" to prove that I am "what you get from the public schools."
That will be a good example, because no one that is homeschooled ever makes typographical errors.
Good show!
I'll second your comment.
Do you mean bash such parents personally? I've never seen that.
I didn't homeschool but wish I could have. I wish everyone could.
Who mentioned "homeschool" before your post 13?
You are off topic.
Public school is a middle class welfare scheme. Sometimes people pick on those who are on public assistance. It's unkind, but it happens, and I agree there is a superiority aspect to their mean-spiritedness.

You are the only one so far to bring up home schooling.
"I'm beginning to think that ANY post containing the word "school" now serves as grounds for holier-than-though homeschoolers to bash the rest of us that have our kids in public schools."
My thoughts exactly.
Homeschooling is a conservative issue. Just like gun rights, pro-life, and all the other issues.
I didn't see it mentioned before your post. But, expect it to be mentioned, as any other "conservative" issue would be.
It's a major issue. We should be able to talk about it here.
I feel your pain, only worse. I am a public school teacher.
Every day is a bash-o-rama here on FR.
I checked but couldn't find a home school comment except in your post. To which post were you referring, or was yours a pre-emptive strike?
You know, you're the first to mention homeschooling on this thread.
The psychobabblers call that "projection".
