Four persons arrested in Los Angeles are part of a Chinese spy ring, federal investigators said, and the suspects caused serious compromises for 15 years to major U.S. weapons systems, including submarines and warships.

I say we award them "Most Favored Nation" trade status again while encouraging major corporations to relocate their operations there. It is in our best interest.

Glad to see our federal investigators are on their toes. It's only taken them 15 years to make an arrest in the case.

They must have located Al Gores controlling legal authority.
Now that they've busted the Chinese mafia, what will Hillary do?

"China covertly obtained the Aegis technology and earlier this year deployed its first Aegis warship, code-named Magic Shield, intelligence officials have said.

Covert my butt. That technology was sold to them for campaign contributions by none other than Bill Clinton. If this investigation starts to point the finger at Clinton, look for trusty ol Bush ( our new enabler and chief) to step in and put a clamp on things.

WorldNetDaily link is gone. Try the LA Times article titled "Spy Probe Lasted Year". The link, if it works, is:

http://www.latimes.com/news/local/la-me-spy5nov05,1,1360157.story?ctrack=1&cset=true

If that doesn't work use the flippin' search engine on their webpage.

Well hell, keep their names, if Hillary gets in they can get a top level job at the White House, the Pentagon, the State Department... the possibilities are endless.

BTW, since when do we care about Chinese spies? The Clinton White House (and more) was infested with them in the 90s and nobody gave a rats ass.

"Key compromises uncovered so far include sensitive data on Aegis battle management systems that are the core of U.S. Navy destroyers and cruisers."

"The Chinese also obtained sensitive data on U.S. submarines, including classified details related to the new Virginia-class attack submarines."

"China now will be able to track U.S. submarines,"

"Mr. Chi, an electrical engineer, also had access to details on U.S. aircraft carriers and once was aboard the USS Stennis. A Pentagon report made public earlier this year said China's military is building up capabilities to attack U.S. aircraft carriers."

"China also is thought to have obtained information from the spy ring that will assist Chinese military development of electromagnetic pulse weapons -- weapons that simulate the electronic shock caused by a nuclear blast -- that disrupt electronics."

"It (China) is also is thought to have obtained unmanned aerial vehicle technology from the spy ring."

Well, a few of us did. What I don't understand is why men in the oval office continue to authorize technology transfers (that will improve their ability to launch weapons at us) and the sale of nuclear reactors to China? The democrats did it for money (campaigns) and the republicans do it for money (Most Favored Nation trade status). What Clinton did should have been reason to impeach him...not a lie about an equally dirty woman with a stained dress.

With regard to both parties, I agree.

I didn't have a problem going after Clinton over Monicagate. If you can't get a criminal one way, get him on taxes or anything else. Just get him.

The drive to 'get Bill Clinton' over Monica did provide clear incidences of perjury, witness tampering, bribery, obstruction of justice, conspiracy and more. If the House and Senate didn't want to go after Clinton on espionage or other crimes, they had him dead to rights on a number of obvious and serious crimes.

If ever it was evident that both parties were "in the bag", that was it.

Yeah. You can't tell me that this guy was the reason the Chinese gained the Aegis technology and he only had a Secret clearance. Sounds like a scapegoat of convenience.
