Curious TSR, have you seen any polls that substaniate the above assertion regarding TTC?.... I've not paid that much attention but don't remember any.

Basically any road in Texas can be turned into a toll road. What Perry and his buddies want to do is build a bunch of toll roads and then lease them to private companies for some quick upfront cash. I-10 west and the Harris County Toll Road Authority (HCTRA) are a good example. They are going to add one lane east and west to I-10 and right in the middle they are adding 4 toll road lanes, 2 bus lanes and 2 HOV lanes on a freeway that was already bought and paid for by the tax payers. To add two lanes to I-10 is a joke.

This whole Prop. 1 B.S. is to be financed by diverting gasoline tax money from highway building to railroad beautification!
