The Threat Matrix

The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger.

"Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix."

We here at FR are trying to be in conjunction with the daily reports around the world that involve threats. We try to provide a storehouse of information that takes hours of research.

Some think he is dead, others that he is hiding because he is scared of being killed.

Whatever the reason for the strange disappearance of Osama bin Laden, not seen alive since his last mocking video statement a year ago, he is no longer the face of the global "jihad" against the West.

Abu Musab al-Zarqawi { TM 25,TM 27 }, the Jordanian responsible for some of the worst atrocities in Iraq, has become the hero of the hour on militant Islamist websites.

I too am disappointed in some of President Bush's policies (now I've said it too). Here's a paragraph about ex-President Eisenhower that reinforces my concern:

As he wrote in his 1998 book The Great Betrayal: "In 1953 Eisenhower directed the repatriation of all alliens with no legal right to be here. There was nothing racist, immoral, or xenophobic in this. Eisenhower was enforcing the law, as he had taken an oath to do. The president knew that a country that cannot control its borders isn't really a country anymore." (p. 292)

Lately, I have zero tolerance for liberals

Some liberals are more obnoxious than others. Some cannot be rehabilitated no matter what you do or say. For many it's family tradition and they will not or cannot for the lives of them think for themselves.

Being conservative is saving my family lots of money. We now have a short list of movies, videos and music that is acceptable to buy - thanks to the liberals who have tainted the products they sell with their vulgar unpatriotic rantings. Industry executives cannot figure out why so-called "music" isn't selling, movie attentance is down and videos sit on the shelves in movie-rental stores. (guessing that liberal target audience isn't buying it either) hehe!

NEW YORK -- An Arabic translator for the Army may have secretly helped Iraqi insurgents by taking classified documents home from Iraq to Brooklyn, where he made a series of calls to numbers linked to the insurgency, a federal prosecutor said Monday.

The man was charged last month with falsifying his identity over many years, beginning when he entered the United States seeking political asylum sometime between 1978 and 1989. His alleged ties to the insurgency were revealed for the first time at a bail hearing Monday in federal court in Brooklyn.
