Schumer Wasted No Time In Attacking And Fundraising Off Of Judge Alito:

Schumer: "[I]t's Sad That The President Felt He Had To Pick A Nominee Likely To Divide America Instead Of Choosing A Nominee In The Mold Of Sandra Day O'Connor, Who Would Unify Us." (Sen. Charles Schumer, Press Conference, 10/31/05)

Schumer: "This Controversial Nominee, Who Would Make The Court Less Diverse And Far More Conservative, Will Get Very Careful Scrutiny From The Senate And From The American People." (Sen. Charles Schumer, Press Conference, 10/31/05)

DSCC Email: "Yet They Still Choose To Back A Potentially Divisive New Supreme Court Nominee Who Raises Serious Questions Over Whether He Will Serve Mainstream Americans. ... Click Here To Make A Secure Contribution Of $50, $75, Or More." (DSCC Email, "Telling The Truth," 11/1/05)

Schumer's DSCC Raised Cash Off Judge Roberts' Nomination:

Schumer: "We Are Contemplating How We Are Going To Go To War Over This." (Editorial, "Schumer's Agenda," New York Post, 7/10/05)

The DSCC Sent Out Email The Day After Roberts' Nomination Was Announced. "Now that we have a nominee, the Senate has a duty to collect all the facts about his judicial philosophy and carefully consider his candidacy for the nation's highest court.  I will be sure to keep you updated on our progress, but, for now, Senate Democrats are committed to a full and thorough review process." (Sen. Charles Schumer, "Supreme Court Update: John Roberts Nominated," DSCC Email, 7/20/05)

August DSCC Email: "Now, The White House Is Even Trying To Block A Complete Investigation Into The Government Service Record Of Supreme Court Nominee John Roberts. The American People Deserve The Full And Uncensored Truth. ... Please Make A Contribution Today And Help Us Take Back The Senate In 2006." (DSCC Email, "What Are They Trying To Hide?" 8/2/05)

THE SAME CAMPAIGN CHUCK CASHED IN OFF OF NATURAL DISASTER

Schumer Has No Shame: Raised Money Off Hurricane Katrina:

"In One Of The More Cynical Tricks We've Seen Lately, Schumer's DSCC Urged Visitors To Its Web Site To Sign A Petition Urging The Firing Of Federal Emergency Management Agency Director Michael Brown, The Focus Of Much Of The Criticism Of The Federal Response To Katrina." (Editorial, "Schumer's Shame," New York Post, 9/10/05)

Schumer Using Iraq As Campaign Fundraiser:

"The Chairman Of The Senate Democratic Campaign Committee, Charles E. Schumer Of New York, Said, 'There Is No Question That The Iraq War, Without Any Light At The End Of The Tunnel Apparent To The American People, Is Becoming More And More A Ball And Chain Rapidly Weighing Down The Administration.'" (Adam Nagourney and David D. Kirkpatrick, "Bad Iraq War News Worries Some In G.O.P. On '06 Vote," The New York Times, 8/18/05)

DSCC Email: "Overseas, Only The Democrats Have The Credibility On The World Stage To Achieve Lasting Success In Iraq And To Make Americans Safer. ... Click Here To Make A Secure Contribution Of $50, $75, Or More Before November 7." (DSCC Email, "Countdown," 10/28/05)

DSCC Email: "They Do Not Have Clear Exit Strategy For Iraq, Despite The Ongoing Violence And Political Turmoil. ... Click Here To Make A Secure Contribution Of $50, $75, Or More." (DSCC Email, "It's Time For A Change," 9/27/05)

DSCC Email: "The Democratic Agenda Includes A Real Plan For Success In Iraq ... Click Here To Make A Secure Contribution Of $40, $75, Or More." (DSCC Email, "Smarter And Tougher," 6/29/05)

Plea for more contributions to Senate campaign coffers is helping drive Schumer's comments in order to elect more RATs to the Senate -- he is pure scum who puts politics over everything. We must defeat Schumer's plan to add more RATs to the US Senate.

We have to get out to work to defeat Schumer's plan to wrest control of the Senate back to the RATs -- they cannot be trusted. If you are in a State with a Senate seat up for grabs, volunteer starting now for your candidates.

Please send more Dr. Tom Coburn's to the Senate -- the Senate needs people like him that are not afraid to stand up for what is right and puts America first.

But Chuckie... this nominee is unifying us!

From scrappleface.com posted here last night (hilarious):

Federal Appeals Court Judge Samuel A. Alito Jr., President George Bush’s most recent Supreme Court nominee, is “hopelessly overqualified” for the nation’s highest court, according to Sen. Charles Schumer, D-NY.

“While average Americans had urged the president to appoint someone in the Harriet Miers tradition,” said Sen. Schumer, “Bush disappoints them by picking a Princeton and Yale graduate who’s a veteran jurist with a sharp intellect and rich legal experience. All of that ability and wisdom will be wasted at the Supreme Court, where his main job is simply to update the Constitution.”

The New York Democrat joined many of his colleagues in noting that the Supreme Court is “the people’s court” and should not be ruled by “an elite class of scholars far removed from the real world.”

White House spokesman Scott McClellan said, “The president acknowledges that his nominee is probably too brilliant for this court.”

“Judge Alito would be a better candidate for the Senate, where he could help restore intellectual balance on Capitol Hill,” said Mr. McClellan. “But when your starter gets knocked out of the game, you have to go to the bench.”

* Schumer: "[T]he President Seems To Want To Hunker Down In His Bunker And Is More Concerned About Smoothing The Ruffled Feathers Of The Extreme Wing Of His Party Than About Governing All Of America And Changing History For The Better. This Controversial Nominee ... Will Get Very Careful Scrutiny From The Senate And The American People." (Sen. Charles Schumer, Press Conference, 10/31/05)

Will be donating to RNSC shortly -- last week I was on the phone to RNC when Schumer appeared on TV and I upped my contribution to them.

Cannot stand Schumer!

Schumer has got to be the lowest form of life on the planet. In his world the ATF is running around with tanks and guns pointed at AMERICANS.

We will NEVER let those animals into power again!

Great to be united too! Schumer is going over the edge but the sad part is New Yorkers will reelect him to the Senate.

What about the Clinton administration; especially Janet El Reno.

Gone - we got rid of them, we impeached, defamed and ran them out of town on a rail.

Chuckie, though, is still amongst us.
