"What left wing organization is paying Phelps and these nuts to denigrate America's war dead?"

Alas while he is one of the best things the left has going for them, he is one of ours. His actions make it a lot harder for those of us who protest in a legitimate fashion against the homosexual agenda.

He ain't "one of mine".

If I were tasked with drawing up a "list" a la Scott Coleman in Vince Flynn's "Term Limits", he'd be right up there close to the top. I wouldn't lose a minute's sleep neither over the decision nor on the "limiting" act, itself.

I would say his support for Gore excludes him from being "one of ours"...

He is not "one of ours" - he has run for office several times as a Democrat. He was a district campaign manager for Al Gore and he was an invitee to the 1992 Clinton inaugural.

He has never been affiliated with the conservative movement in any way, shape or form.

Fred Phelps is a Democrat financial contributor and has run for office several times as a Democrat (even after Al Gore disavowed associating with him in the 1990s).

Fred Phelps ain't "one of ours". Whether he exists to smear religious conservatives or is another element of the hate filled left, I don't know. The KKK opposed Republicans until the 1920s when I guess it became bi-partisan. The prominent Klan members we know in the modern era: Sen Sheets Byrd and David Duke, were both Democrats, at least at one time.

Blame the media if you don't know what party he belongs to.

Lyndon LaRouche is also a hate filled Democrat. Not former Rat, he continues to seek the nomination of his party which he claims abandoned him.

He may be one of yours, but he's not one of ours.
