A note to my American friends...
You may be under the impression that just because Charles is Her Majesty's son, that he may be a person of some importance in the United Kingdom. Please let me disabuse you of that notion. Anyone who would state that they would enjoy going through life being Camilla Parker Bowles' tampon is not worthy of serious consideration. As such, we don't take him seriously and nor should you. Rather, please regard him as you would an eccentric relative who has a plan to build a perpetual motion machine or believes the CIA is using microwaves to read his mind.
Thank you for your kind attention.
Yours sincerely, Ivan
Thank God you do have a Prime Minister who sees things for the way they are.
LOL Thank you Mad Ivan for your words of reassurance.
Now if you could just do something to keep him in England where he belongs? LOL
Bwhahahahaha! That is funny Ivan. I like the way you think
Thanks Ivan. As always, your remarks define the UK perspective for me.
Revenge for Mrs. Wallas Simpson, perhaps?
PHHTTT!! Dude, you owe me a keyboard!
Ivan,
Chuck wore out his welcome with such foolish talk. His visit is not going to build any goodwill. Hopefully he and his harlot will decide that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is much more to his liking. For the life of me I can not figure out why Chuckie would open his mouth and remove all doubt regarding his short sighted contempt for our great United States of America.
LOL to your post #8.
Ivan, this eccentric relative may wind up as King of England one day. Does this not worry you? When I was in my early twenties I visited England and I loved it! But in those days it was what I call "Agatha Christie's" England. A few years ago my husband's daughter visited England also expecting an "Agatha Christie's" England and she told me "I thought the plane flew into the wrong country". What is going on in England?
Have I ever told you that I am SO glad you stuck around here, Ivan? : )
I enjoy your posts.
WHAT!!!? LOL. That's a joke right?
If that is true...I truly sorry for the British.
lmbo! Thanks for the status clarification.
Ivan, I certainly like your way with words. I always enjoy reading your posts!!!
P.S. They are usually "spot on", too.
Are not royals not supposed to yip about political issues?
Thanks for clearing that up Ivan.
Cheers.
L
Thanks for the heads-up! I'd like to think of him as the UK's "crazy aunt in the attic" but apparently he's headed to our shores.... why do you have to let him out of the attic?? :^)
It's OK, we'll just send him on a spiritual retreat with some of our own favorites here like Bill Clinton, Algore, Hillary, et al and they can all prattle on to each other about the "religion of peace" having nothing to do with mass murder in NYC, Bali, London, Madrid, etc.
Here Here, well said ole boy. Most of us Yanks know the crown doesnt speak for the Kingdom. Your kinship and friendship are greatly valued by the US.
If so, I hope he doesn't become king. I could tolerate his sermons on architecture, painting, and natural gardening. This defense of Islam is intolerable. Please keep him home next time. Send him a box of tampons and tell him to go out and play.
Thank you Ivan. I cannot tell you how glad I am to hear that. Prince Charles lost it with me when he took up with Camilla again, and I have no respect for him.
