Vermont used to be THE most Republican state in America. It's the only state that Franklin Roosevelt never carried, in any of his four elections. What's happened to it is pretty mystifying.
Personally, I think Republicanus_Tyrannus has the best suggestion.... deport the seditious bastards and shoot them if they attempt to get back in. Maybe this jerk who thinks he's Ethan Allen didn't notice, but the entire secession issue was settled back in 1865.
