This was a secret? Please. There was even a reference to it in an early Star Trek episode. (Uhuru: "No interest, Mr. Sulu?")
Whatever. He is, by thousands of accounts from folks who've met or worked with him, a really nice guy. We have a mutual friend, in fact, who attests that he is an extraordinary human being and lots of fun.
Whatever makes him happy is okay in my book. Press on, Mr. Sulu.
That's true; he's always a gentleman to people on the street, and is probably the only original cast member who wasn't involved in some sort of spat with either Shatner or Roddenberry. He also apparently became friends with John Wayne when he made The Green Berets.
A lot of people in prison are "nice guys." In any case, it seems the gays feel that the climate is right for "coming out." Tab Hunter just did. I guess they want to gin up a little publicity in the twilight of their careers.
Well then your book certainly isn't Leviticus.
