Champagne corks popping at CNN, MSNBC, CBS, ABC, NBC, NYT, Wash Post.
God rest all their souls. They died fighting for freedom and Jesus says that there is no greater love than that a man lay down his life for a friend.
Read the article.
They already are.
No bias there. no sir./sarc
The looney left can break out the bubbly now.
We should honor everyone of them for their ultimate sacrifice, not use them as a reason to cut and run. They weren't part of the me, me, me crowd that is tearing this country apart.
In perspective during past wars there were days when 2,000 fatalities was a normal day.
So are the lefties opening the bubbly, one wonders.
Remember, for the Left, a dead Iraqi Baathist is a tragedy, a dead American or British soldier is an opportunity.

Considering I have freinds over there or about to go over there...I for one am not amused about the "parties" the moonbats are throwing. Having to live with one (my 86 year old grandfather) my patience for them is absolute nil right now. At least the monsoon we're having will keep them off the streets of NYC.
..Pravda, BBC, Al-Jiz, Guardian, CBC, ad nauseum.

One battle: 26,000 casualties and 7,000 dead.

How apropos this is from Yahoo! That's exactly how the DUmmies are reacting.
Hey now, leave perspective out of this!!
As much as I hate counting bodies maybe we should draw a comparison between the numbers of KIA in Vietnam and KIA in Iraq. By my figuring it's going to take at least 40 years to approach similar numbers of KIA as came out of Vietnam.
One is too many but this is the real world.
You'd have to look for some newspapers during the Reconstruction era South cheering on the KKK to see journalists so in favor of "insurgents" after a war is over.
And for those who ask "when" are we leaving, when are we leaving Bosnia? Germany? Japan? Korea?
My prayers are with all 2000 of their families. The liberals and the press have been gleefully awaiting this day. They cheer wheneve an american is killed. They only regret that 10,000 americans haven't died.
Is Sheehan chained to the WH fence yet?
