Carter really takes the cake. Insane gas lines, he lost us the Panama Canal, and he sat and watched while a western-friendly Iran fell to the savages, thusly making him largely culpable for the rise of terrorism in the last quarter century. What a gem.
And all this in four short(long) years!
The only amendment I would make to your appraisal is that he simply gave the Panama Canal away and it's now run by the Chinese!
