OK, my online AHS dictionary doesn't define "Dhimmitude", so please give me a definition or different spelling.
I almost know the word and spelling and definition, but like one of things almost on the tip of your tongue,....I can't quite get it. So please,....help me out here. I love words. Thanks.
dhimmi are a "protected" group of non-Muslims living in a Muslim area. The Koran allows such people to be tolerated if they are not idolators, if the accept that Muslims should rightly dominate politically, and if they agree to pay a special tax in exchange for being tolerated. It amounts to institutionalized second class citizenship.
