Cheney staffers are believed to have testified, including Mary Matalin,

Never trust the wife of a serpent-head Democrat.

defense lawyers say they now believe

Now, there is reliable information. /sarcasm

I wonder when MSM are going to report on FACTS, not what some overpaid DEFENSE lawyers say?! I would assume one these "defense lawyers" is MSNBC, Dan Abrams' father who was representing Judith Miller of the New York Times? No conflict of interest here. /sarcasm

Mary Matalin, John Hannah, Cathie Martin, and David Wurmser....

Since they all testified, I'd say that they are ALL informants, as are Rove and Libby.

For that matter, even the President and Vice President.

How does the media get away with turning these non-stories into shocking headlines?

The author, David Shuster, is a big time Bush hater and he is not afraid to admit it. Plus, if Fitz has a witness that can testify to some huge conspiracy within the WH to do something illegal, then why, according to the NYT is this going on:

"In recent days, Mr. Fitzgerald has repeatedly told lawyers in the case that he has not made up his mind about criminal charges."

In addition, MSNBC is referring to a legal brief over a year old. Since that time, there has been more testimony from witnesses that Fitz was trying to get.

David Shuster....good one.

From Shuster's article:

When Time magazine reporter Matt Cooper appeared at the grand jury, he testified not only that Karl Rove was his source, but that Rove indicated some of the information about Wilson's trip and wife would soon be declassified.

How did the president's top advisor hear that? And who did he discuss it with? It was an issue for the grand jury, lawyers say, when rove testified last week.

The answer is a matter of public record. After Wilson's op-ed was published on July 6 questions were asked of Tenet who worked with Rove and Libby providing answers:

For Two Aides in Leak Case, 2nd Issue Rises

The work done by Mr. Rove and Mr. Libby on the Tenet statement, during this intense period, had not been previously disclosed.

Cooper spoke with Rove on the day Tenet's Statement was released, July 11, so obviously Rove knew from Tenet himself well before Cooper placed his call.
