Absolute professionals!

OTOH, I'd want something with a bit more "punch" than that 7.62mm 240B (say a M2 .50BMG) if I had to man that turret...

The 240B has a lot better cyclic rate for this job I'd say. Not to mention it's a lot easier to wield quickly in an environment where you're dealing with cars going past you on the "blvd."

I hear you, but swinging around 82 pounds of Ma Deuce can be tough. You got what you got. Use it to full effect.

A 42nd Infantry Division Artillery Personal Security Detachment Humvee shows damage inflicted by an exploding vehicle borne improvised explosive device. When the crew spotted the VBIED coming at them, Spc. Dean Levy, the Humvee gunner, fired at it. It exploded almost immediately, less than 40 meters from the Humvee. It’s thought that the crew’s alertness and Levy’s response caused the terrorist driving the VBIED to detonate it prematurely. The entire crew survived and returned to duty.

The car was 40 meters and closing

130 feet or so, and only then did the shooting begin. Talk about a nail biter.

Thanks, Calpernia, for the ping! I hope others understand.

Even if not, I thank you Calpernia -- for understanding!

I don't have a picture of you. But I have one of Tonk, Aloha Ronnie and Chieftain.

Real guys.

I don't have a pic to post of you, though. Let me know, will ya?
