Louis Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam, going back to Farrakhan's mentor Elijah Muhammad and his mentor Wallace Fard, have always maintained the belief that Africans are cosmic beings from another world and that they are trying to reestablish contact.
It's a pretty well-known aspect of the cult's beliefs, and as Muslim as bean pie.

"the belief that Africans are cosmic beings from another world and that they are trying to reestablish contact."
A lot of high ranking nazis held similar beliefs about being descended from beings that arrived on an ice moon from deep space.

Didn't Elija Muhammad also say that the Caucasion race was invented by scientist several thousand years ago? I think I heard that when he was on The Big Story yesterday during an interview with David Asman. Did anyone else see the interview?

Since I've only associated Farrakhan with the million man march, I must have been busy with other things to take note of the mother-ship thing. Like raising a family, working and the like.
The scary thing is that he could gather enough support to be sought for an interview.
If my memory is going, that might be a good thing, considering.
