I was listening to the John Batchelor Program on WABC Radio in New York last night.
He commented on the process that went into nominating Miers and added that the likelyhood of her nomination withdrawn has grown.
It has grown from 5% last week, to 30% end of last week, to 50% beginning of this week, to 75% last night.
Fund was on the program to comment on his op-ed piece:
How She Slipped Through Harriet Miers's nomination resulted from a failed vetting process.

And how does Johnny know this?
The real question is what does Art Bell say about this.
Sure hope he's right! : )
Even if she's withdraws, don't expect any of the names that have been floated the past 10 days or so to be the next one nominated. That will start this whole process all over again.
Nominating her was a mistake but you can't put the toothpaste back in the tube.
There is ZERO chance she will withdraw IMO. This has really gotten loony.
(Miss Cleo)
There is already blood in the water and pundits are relishing thier time in the sun. If her name is pulled they will simply go after the new nominee.
So let the hearings take place and the Constitutional process of "advice and consent" take place and she will either be voted up or down.
Apparently there are some involved in the nomination process who have not been pleased with the Miers selection from Day 1 of it being made an option.
LOL, great job John, now how about putting some of your vigor into destroying our real enemies living right next door to you in NY? Like your leftwing media friends?
I had occassion to listen to his show when I was communting very late at night recently. I was in a remote area and it was all I could get on the radio. What a hoot that show is.
I don't think you all are going to much like the alternative either......
you know, I keep watching FR and there has been prediction after prediction after prediction (maybe by whoever this Fund guy is) that she will be withdrawn a week ago.
Hasn't happened.
It's going to committee folks. Get used to the idea. People are tuning out the screamers. People want to hear her speak.
She will be confirmed easily -
I'd very much like to see her go thru the hearings. We've heard lots of speculation about what she is or isn't; she is the lawful nominee, so at least give her a chance. We weren't happy about Roberts either, until he aced the hearings.
We shall see if he is right.
wouldn't surprise me if she is withdrawn...
But I am hoping she ain't just to prove the pundit class wrong.
