The combat in Nalchik has finished by 2 p.m. of the second day of the attack attempted by islamist mass-murderers in the main city of Kabardino-Balkaria.
The SWAT forces of the Federal Agency for Execution of Sentences has accomplished an operation for killing the mass-murderers who had entrenched themselves in the building belonging to the Republican Department of the Agency. 12 islamists were killed there. The timely deputy to the Director of the Agency Mr. Valeriy Kraiev said that 9 hostages had been released. He also said the Agency suffered losses among the personnel
But law-enforcing forces still don’t know how many islamists can be left in Nalchiik including those who probably pretend to be civilians.
According to the latest info, 91 islamist gunmen were killed and 36 detained during the operation. “We are proceeding with counting the killed mass-murderers. Now there are 91 corpses and 36 bandits are arrested. 9 people have been already arraigned.” – Minister of Internal Affaires of Kabardino-Balcaria told Interfax on Friday.
