I ran across a new report quoting German paper Bild, according to which U.S. spy satellite spotted him in N.W. Pakistan last week before the quake hit, and no sign of him since then.
I don't know how credible Bild's report is, but it is an intriguing question to ask what happened to him during the quake.

The quake was a gift from the mighty Jehovah as He finally swept down from the heavens to smite the evil Osama bin Laden!

How ironic! Maybe the quake got him for us?

Or merely rendered incommunicado for some weeks,
or trapped in a cave.
Many remote villages haven't been heard from, because
the deep valley roads leading to them were buried
under landslides and rockslides.
And winter's coming on.

Unfortunately, I don't have the link to English or German version. Maybe you can ask Freeper pepsionice or longjack, who have a good handle on German stuffs.

Bin Laden has managed to avoid capture for nearly a decade . . . And Bill Clinton didn't help by avoiding Sudan's multiple offers to turn him over.

I hope he's buried under 100 feet of rock with some of his buds...right after a huge meal to keep him alive for awhile... He's the only one alive...trapped...both legs pinned...arms pinned...no breaks or deep cuts..nice crawly things are tasting him...a bite there...a bite here.....a slow drip of water...a drop every 5 minutes...hits him square on the forehead...stuff is starting to rot all around him...Heh...heh..heh...

Hopefully he is turning into a mummy somewhere deep inside a mountain valley, and will be dug up by a group of excited archaeologists a couple of millenia later.:)

There's a line in the book Dune that goes something like "Don't believe reports about your enemy being dead until you see his body in front of you. And even then, don't be totally sure."
Good advice on Bin Laden.

I suspect this media talk will bait him into releasing another topical tape soon.

If bin Laden died, the world may never know. You mean like what happened in Tora Bora in December 2001?
