I think you've nailed it, they still can't believe they've lost power in Texas, after all they had it for so many years, it was a tradition, it was sacred, how could it have possibly changed?

As few as twelve years ago, the Democrats ran this state. They had the governor, the State Senate, the State House, all of the statewide offices and virtually all of the Congressional seats.

But, now, they've got...nothing. No governor, no control of either branch of the legislature, no statewide offices and only 1/3 of the Congressional seats.

Yeah, those few Democrats that are left are the crazy ones. All the sane folks are Republican...
