I agree. Look, I know that the NOPD are stressed, but come on. That guy posed no threat, was not fighting back, and the reporter was just doing his job.
Those "officers" need their badges pulled, their jobs yanked, and some prison time. I'm not a cop, but I am a soldier, and that behavior brings discredit on all of us that serve the people.

He wasn't fighting back? Have we not seen the same video?
Now - what we didn't see before is what's troubling. These police beating videos never seem to show anything prior to the atual event in question, so we are at the mercy of the cops and other folks who were there. Was this guy causing trouble and was being escorted away when he took a swing? Or did the cops just decide to take frustration out on this old drunk, and he just was trying to defend himself?

I know that the NOPD are stressedThey probably need another trip to Las Vegas.

The NOPD already has two former cops on "death row" - including one that shot and killed a fellow officer that attempted to stop them from committing armed robbery.

I second Amen that!
The Rodney King reference in this thread title is an embarrassment.
What Does Rodney King have to do with what we all saw in the news.
Banging that mans head numerous times against a wall was sickening to watch.

independent of this incident, do you jump to the same conclusions concerning media reports involving soldiers? or do you hear all the facts first and then make your decisions? tell me what happened right before the camera was rolling and i will digress.
