If I am not mistaken, you cannot stockpile this type of vaccine because it is produced to combat a specific strain of influenza, and influenza is constantly mutating. The vaccines that are produced each year are designed to target the anticipated type of influenza in circulation that year. The same vaccine may be useless the following year.
