I am a Reagan conservative and worked for him when he ran for Gov.
I will support Hitchens over Buchanan any day.

That's interesting - considering as Reagan hired Buchanan as his White House communications director - - - while Hitchens (as this article documents) never had a good word for REagan, and apparently continued to denounce Reagan on his death. You're some "Reagan supporter" to support somebody like Hitchens, who hates Reagan/

Do you agree with Christopher Hitchens that Lenin was "a great man?" That Leon Trotsky "always was a prophetic moralist?" That Ronald Reagan was "dumb as a stump" and a "cruel and stupid lizard?" Do you hate anyone who believes in God, the way Hitchens does? Did you even read the article?

Well, you have right to have your preferences. Certainly Buchanan would never achieve such heights of Hitchens wisdom:

Speaking ill of the dead is a Hitchens trademark, with Mother Teresa, Bob Hope, and Ronald Reagan—whom Hitchens described as “dumb as a stump” and a “cruel and stupid lizard”—each rating a bilious sendoff. But John Paul II rated two. Hitchens blamed the pope for such wide-ranging evils as the “enslavement of the Middle East” and “the millions who will die needlessly from AIDS,” a disease whose sexual transmission would cease if Catholic teaching were followed.
