It's amazing that these Darwinian Fundamentalists ....

What's amazing is that religious fundamentalists seek to elevate themselves by promoting the "science" of ID, while they denigrate science by calling it "religious".

Maybe just a case of "science envy"?

Whether one believes in a creator or not, views regarding a supernatural creator are, by their very nature, claims of religious faith, and so not within the scope or abilities of science

Sounds about right.

(Creationists and IDers, Stuck On Stupid for 150 years.)

150 years? Yer stupid and stuck. Can't wait to hear your deathbed pleas to Him. (or maybe you think that when you die, that's it?)

Have fun in this world. It's all you'll ever know.

Maybe just a case of "science envy"? Envy? Only an atheist could dream up such a silly notion.

************

Is that what ID/Creationism foes believe? I must say, I'm surprised. I am neither envious nor anti-science.

I guess it would be a minor miracle if we had a single thread that did not devolve into name-calling and the attribution of ulterior motives of one side to the other.

I believe that everyone who believe in evolution excluding God is stupid. Why? because to believe that man can be intelligent without someone involved in the process is absurd! You either believe that man is intelligent coming from a being or man is stupid coming from nothing. How in the world can you a human be smart coming from impossible. Like comes from like.

The problem arose with Thomas Huxley and other Darwinist propogandists, who insisted on a doctrinate anti-supernaturalism. They were far more interested in natural selection as a philosophical concept than as a scientific tool. Dawkins is still pushing this line. In their intolerance, they remind me of the Aristotelans who brought Galileo to his knees. His sin was that he challenged the scientific establishment of his time. The Church simply served as the tool of an older paradign being challenged by revolutionaries.
