None of this is surprising. But it sure is despicable.

Charge her with fraud and make sure everybody hears it over and over, find her guilty and then sentence her to probation. Throwing her in jail would just make her a "martyr".

Two great ways to help the poor:

1) Make money.

2) Become competent.

People who donate to her deserve to have their money wasted.

Sounds like al-Sheehan and others involved in her "charitable" work have committed fraud. When can we expect a full investigation, an audit and so on?

Oh...right...never.

We are asking you to help us get the word out to the world that there are veterans who beleave we did not have the right to invade Iraq. We want to help them express how they feal when they come home. We want to let them know that we care! And since we are veterans of WWII, Korea, Viet Nam, Afganistan and Iraq. We are trusted to present them in a respectfull light.

Who wrote this? beleave, feal, rspectfull?

Michael Moore, seeing how incompetent the Feds were at helping the victims of the Katrina, helped raise approximately $300,000 - $500,000 for VFP to be used as direct-aid for hurricane victims.

"Who wrote this? beleave, feal, rspectfull?"

People who regularly hold themselves out to be more competent than the Red Cross or President Bush.

Not surprising to me at all...here's some of your previous posts for background purposes:

Camp Casey III Fires Lawyers, Lawyers Say $100K May Be Missing

Cindy Sheehan's "Bright Spot"

Cindy's VFP Net $100+K A Day From Katrina Relief Drive

Thanks for keeping up with this.

I think it is being handled...from the original post:

As of this writing, the local police, the Red Cross, the Louisiana Attorney General's Office and the US Department of Justice are all conducting investigations into the VFP's Katrina activities.

They would certainly pass the info on to the proper authorities.

What planet is this guy on!? 300 to 500 grand morphs into "at least $100,000" until the first documented purchase req. comes along ( for a multi media rig no less) and Shazaam, there's only $3000 in the account. Then the guy has the audacity to say

..In my option, there is no scandal here..

This must be some kind of new math I don't understand.

Further deception by these jerks - They say that they need an iMac for $3,000. If you go to the Apple Store and spec a 20" iMac G5, and add the max RAM, the largest hard drive, and AppleCare, you only get it to $2,474. A far cry from $3,000.
