If someone were to be in a place with no evidence of human life, and then stumble upon a television set or a laptop computer, they would never say that these items invented themselves.

Well, the life-sustaining ecosystem of the earth, even the simplist plants, are far more intricate and complex than even the most advanced computers. So ruling out intelligent design just doesn't make any sense.

There would be a 100% probablility that that certain "someone" would find evidence of human life along with the tv or laptop.

It goes waaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyy beyond that. Even the simplest form of life is not just extremely complex. It is UNIMAGINEABLY complex. That is a simple fact.

If it were NOT a fact, then someone would have IMAGINED how do do it, and would have CREATED some synthetic life. All the combined intellect of humanity through out history has utterly failed to CREATE synthetic life. Yet a lot of them seem to think it just happened accidentally. That takes faith.

Well, suppose they stumbled upon some grass, what would they say?

Check Gen 1:12 before you answer.

hrmn...

so, using your line of thinking, the Giants' Causeway was *obviously* carved by invisible giants who left no evidence of ever having existed, and it was just stupid for people to have developed the science of geology and to have applied that science to the study of basaltic cleavage lines, eventually theorizing (but not "proving" in a sense that Creationists demand science MUST do) that the Causeway formed through natural and unintelligent processes.
