I clicked on the link.

I give up.

What's an "OLED" TV?

I clicked on the highlighted text. Got advertisements.

What's an "OLED" TV?

Organic Light Emitting Diode. Each pixel in the screen is a separate LED, meaning it needs no backlight (therefore lower power) and is (allegedly -- I haven't yet seen an OLED display yet) crisper and contrastyier (to coin a word). OLEDs also operate at lower temperatures than standard liquid crystal displays, so you can watch it in your freezer or a North Dakota winter.

organic light-emitting diodes. Faster, lighter, more durable than liquid crystal displays. See here: OLEDs
