If they want ratings, they should go with Beetlejuice.

At the rate they are sinking, the last thing the MSM needs is more anchors.

Why? They haven't produced any that I would watch.
To: LdSentinal
If one of them were to hire Brit Hume away from Fox, AND make him the chief of their news division, I'd bet the ratings would more than double the other two networks.
To: LdSentinal
Many words signifying nothing. Who cares who becomes the next lamestream anchors? The blogs have shredded the news media's credibility to shreds and the so called "reporters" are digging their own graves day by day.
I haven't watched network news in years and know very few who do.

I think CBS or ABC could demonstrate just how unbiased they are by chosing Howard Dean....
To: LdSentinal
Has anyone noticed that they're missing anchors? Perhaps they should save themselves the celebrity paychecks.
To: clee1
I was thinking...they don't need anchors, they need a bilge pump!
To: LdSentinal
Heck, I'll sit there and read someone elde's copy (i.e., do what Dan did) for 1/4 of what they were paying Rather.

Let's see - they've gone without anchors for months and the world hasn't ended. Maybe the anchor paradigm is dead?
