He is not afraid of opening his eyes and looking at the way thing really are.The only problem with that is that, when he opens them, his eyes bug out of his potato-head.

Tim Russert is one of the few Democrats that I have any respect for. He is not afraid of opening his eyes and looking at the way thing really are. He admitted to being a paid lackey for the DNC and the liberals?..where is the link???
To: Chi-townChief
hannity's buddy, Tim "The ONLY man in America whose father taught him anything" Russert is a slick eel. He's just a slimey liberal as anybody else in the ratmedia but he knows how to cover his tacks when he needs a dupe like Sean to help him sell his book.
Even the idea of the book is ridiculous unless you are a Democrat. They don't seem to understand that your father is supposed to teach you how to be a man.
Remember Chris Rock's skit about ( N words) bragging that "I take care of my kids"? Sounds like "big russ's son" saw that show.

Russert strikes me as not being very bright.

Why, then, was the response to Katrina so flawed? That's the crucial question--and the answer will come from hard facts, not the emotional oral tradition that has erupted since Aug. 29.Can someone please explain this urban myth to me? The largest natural disaster in US history (90k sq mi)and it took the Feds 2 whole days to get all the aid in there. I'm tired of hearing this argument so matter of factly stated

Tim Russert is a Liar
Apparently, Jefferson Parish President Aaron "cry baby" Broussard is a phony. MSNBC is calling the now infamous exchange between Broussard and Russert a "misunderstanding" while the NBC prima donna has refused to acknowledge it on his show. National Ledger has all the details.
Tim Russert is not an independent journalist. He is a partisan operative for the Democratic Party and an anti-Bush mouthpiece. If Russert had any credibility left, he would at least apologize to his viewers for allowing Broussard to propogate a lie against the Bush Administration. Russert has become unglued since Bush won re-election and it's time to hold him and his show accountable. Send Timmy a message and let him know what you think about his anti-GOP agenda.

Last week on C-Spin errrr I mean C Span
I saw Russert & a few other "Objective" reporters acting as the mediators for a Lt Governor campaign debate.
The questioning was just like you describe, when the Republican was being questioned it was very pointed & almost hostile. Conversely, when the Democrat was asked questions he was either asked to respond to the GOP candidate (implying the GOP was lying) or the Dem was asked to elaborate on all his successes.
If it wasn't so depressing, it would be funny.

Why should Russert be any different than 98% of the Media?
To: AliVeritas
Yeah, I remember hearing Nagin on the radio near the end of the first week saying some guy called him and the guy was in his attic in water up to his neck and wanted to know when he would be rescued.
Phone service - four days later, in an area with ~ 20 feet of water?

I believe Ruusert has operatives that slander him in left wing blogs so he can claim to be neutral. And notice how the rest of the MSM media covers up his Cuomo/Moynihan background.
