He must have hired Daschle as an advisor.

Two words: Tom Daschle

Reed is up for reelection in 2006... Nevadians need to get out the vote for a Republican candidate.

Harry Reid claims to be pro-life, yet of course he will do NARAL's bidding...nothing to see here, move along.

The dems had their weekly caucus this morning. I suspect others will begin to make their positions known before long.

The Congressional Black Caucus, which is made up of the House's African American lawmakers and Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., also announced its opposition.

"Judge Roberts' civil rights record and views remained the most controversial and unexplained part of his record when the Judiciary Committee hearing concluded, just as his civil rights record and views had been the most controversial part of his record when the hearing began," said Rep. Mel Watt, D-N.C., the CBC's leader.

Dear Congressperson Mel Watt: You are not a Senator and unless you become one you do not have a vote on the Presidents selection to the Supreme Court or a Judge in any court. Sit down.

Good. Let them fire their bullets NOW. They'll look even worse when they oppose the next nominee, which is where the real battle will be.

Harry Reid resembles an ex-convict who has just been released from prison wearing his poorly washed and shaven face and sporting a Goodwill used suit of clothes.

He aptly represents the State of Nevada.

Can someone prove to me that Harry Reid has eyes. Doesn't it seem that so many Dem/Libs are really bad or weird looking- Henry Wachsman, Nancy Pelosi, Joe Biden, Barbara Mikulski, Janet Reno, Helen Thomas,Barbara Streisand, Chuck Schumer, Barney Frank, Dennis Kucinich, etc., etc.

If Reid can't get behind Roberts then he can't get behind anyone that Bush nominates.

Some politician actually said that the other day: "If someone votes against Roberts, then it's clear they cannot vote for ANY Republican nominee."

Exactly. So the lesson is to ignore them and stop these silly "bi-partisan" attempts and get on with the agenda.

If the Dems aren't going to compromise under any circumstances then way give them any consideration?
