Charles Johnson of Little Green Footballs broke this earlier. Possible SAM fired at passenger plane. Michelle Malkin followed up and has verified that there was an "incident" at JFK International Airport in NY.

America West Flight 17, 6:05p.m. flight involved.

I don't believe in rewarding foreigners who have violated our immigration laws. A better idea, if we're going to set up a guest worker program, would be to let in some of the tens of millions of foreigners from around the world who have been waiting patiently for years to legally immigrate to the United States.
