TRENTON, N.J. -- New Jersey Republicans on Thursday called for a review of the state's election rolls, saying a four-month investigation by the party uncovered widespread irregularities.

More than 6,500 voters cast ballots both in New Jersey and another state in last November's election, while 4,755 ballots were cast by deceased voters, Republican State Committee Chairman Tom Wilson said.

In addition, 54,601 people are registered to vote in two New Jersey counties, and 4,397 of them cast ballots in both places last fall, Wilson said.

The State Democratic Committee dismissed the opposition's conclusions.

"If the Republican Party conducted the investigation, it's safe to assume that the facts and figures are wrong and the findings are suspect," Democratic spokesman Richard McGrath said. "If an investigation is needed, it should be done the right way, not the Republican way."

What an arrogant turd!

For dual voters...I'd send them a invitation to the local judge and have them sit there and explain why they did such...just to hear stupid explanations. Then I'd give the guy 30 days in the county jail or a $10k fine. Then I'd hint to the dude that the next time he wanted to do this...I'd double the punishment.

For the dead voter issue...this goes right back to absentee ballots. They have to go. Unless you are US military...there should be option of getting a absentee ballot. I'd rather see the county office open six days a week...12 hours a day for the entire month prior to the election and allow folks to bring in older relatives to vote at their leisure.

This is good. We need to illuminate the fraudulent practices of the Left when ever possible. Without deceit and subterfuge, they're toast (and they know it).

Democrats have a way of making the dead rise from the grave on election day. They never get in trouble for it, dont know why republicans dont do it so its even.

[In light of voter registration problems that surfaced in Florida in 2000 and in Ohio and Washington state last fall, Harvey should take an aggressive approach in New Jersey, Wilson said.]

This is a story about voter fraud in New Jersey perpetrated by the Democrats, and the author seems to think it's proper and objective journalism to include a reference to the 2000 election in Florida. She wants us to conclude that the difficulties there were a result of "voter registration problems" and not a result of AlGore and his Democratic friends on the Florida Supreme Court trying to change election law AFTER the election in order to reverse the outcome.

I assume that in the author's mind, the problems in the New Jersey election were a result of "the process" or "the system" and not because one political party of our two major parties can be relied upon to stuff ballot boxes, vote multiple times, have dead or imaginary people vote, and commit other vote frauds in cities across this country as much as they can get away with during every election.

And as long as "journalists" like this continue to blame individual acts of fraud on "the system", it will continue.

Give it up Mr. Scumbag RAT. Any investigation by the Republicans, by it's very nature, is done the 'right' way. Where you from? Maroonsville? Figures!

98% of all vote fraud can be tied to local democrat politicians.

" The State Democratic Committee dismissed the opposition's conclusions."

Gee, what a suprize that is. This demands a judicial inquiry, and those responsible charged, removed from office.

Heard this on the way to work this morning on WCBS 880 AM. The closing line was "[Republicans] believe that it's a bureaucratic problem and not a fraud problem."

Are you kidding me? This is disgraceful and it will continue unfettered for elections to come if nothing is done. Dead people voting? Unbelieveable.

This is nonsense. Only a few thousand dead voting, maybe they had voted absentee. Only a few thousand voting in multiple precincts. Probably just making sure their vote counted. One cannot be too careful in these troubled times. Computers break, machines fail.

These are concerned citizens merely ensuring their vote is not disenfranchised, or shat upon by evilly weepublicans.
