Deer hunters testified today that Chai Soua Vang wore camouflaged clothing after shooting six other hunters to death and didn't mention the fatal confrontation when he asked for directions out of the woods.
Vang, of St. Paul, has said he acted in self-defense when he killed the six and wounded two others last November in rural Sawyer County, after they confronted him for trespassing. But prosecutors in his murder trial, now in its fourth day, say his self-defense claim isn't supported by the evidence or his behavior after the shootings.

This was the part I was waiting for to come out,there is no way you can claim self defense with these types of actions during and afterwards.
If they have a subpoena issued and a Certificate of Appearance, does that mean the person will definitely testify? Or, it is a possibilty? Just keeping an eye on what is being filed etc.

"Vang says he acted in self-defense after someone shot at him first.
Hesebeck and Willers disagreed in their testimony on some details, including how Vang held his gun. But both testified Vang shot first, and Hesebeck returned one shot with a rifle that Willers had.

Key developments in the Vang trial
• Hesebeck tells the same story as the other wounded hunter, Terry Willers -- that Willers made a radio call telling the others he had found the man in the tree stand and got him to leave the property, and Crotteau and four others soon arrived on all-terrain vehicles for their confrontation with Vang.
• Hesebeck says Vang finally was walking away when he removed the scope from his semiautomatic rifle and opened fire. Hesebeck says he shot back once with Willers' gun after Willers was wounded in the neck.
• Sawyer County Circuit Judge Norman Yackel tells jurors they probably will get the case Friday.
