I have the best memories from visiting my brother and his family at Keesler for a number of years. He was stationed there a few years ago and was since moved to Ohio for his last assignmentHe is career Air Force.....What a great place-if you could stand the heat which was never really a prob. Many a day we would get up early, get in his boat and do some fishing in the Gulf...great fishing! And end up putting down a number of cold ones in the evenings. The base was comfortable and the people really nice. Its the closest connection personally to this travesty and it bums me out that this base was that ravaged. Great Casinos...I'm not a big gambler but they had some mighty fine buffets and a brew pub in the Beaux.....I feel horrible for the shrimp boats-they were so beautiful-right out of Gump!...well I needed to get out a little rambling...thank God Biloxi and Miss had their Gov instead of that incompetent goof next state over....
Wow, a name like General Lord. That's gonna command some respect.
