Brousard is the Parrish President (I think Jefferson) who gave an interview that was shown on Meet the Press and shown CNN over and over.

He claimed that a friends mother was in her house calling for help and help never came. He was quite dramatic crying in the camera that "they said help would be there on Tuesday, it never came and I told moma to hold on help would be there on Wednesday and help never came etc..... He cried and ranted.

Turns out emergency personnel went to the ladies house right after the storm and tried to get her out but the lady refused to leave. The emergency people have papers signed that she refused to leave.

Russert and CNN never corrected the story.

I can see it now. Had the authorities forced the issue and took her away, this guy would be yelling about the Bush fascist police state.
