If the corrupt NOPD had one boat, the story could be true.
I read all the stories on Free Republic. Don't remember too many details. There was a group from England who had just come from volunteering at a camp (or something) in Florida. Another few were from Australia. Yet another story was about a guy from Germany. All the stories were remarkably similar - especially what they said about the evacuation centers. They reported that the girls were unable to go to the bathroom without the guys protecting them. The young men built barriers around themselves with chairs, keeping the girls at the center. They reported a lot of violence and all told of racial insults and threats and how someone from the National Guard rescued them and got them to a basketball court or another room.
"If the corrupt NOPD had one boat, the story could be true."
Indeed. The most unbelievable part of the story is that the girls wouldn't show their breasts.
Nuns?
I've read several stories on FR, too. None involving the police demanding people to expose themselves. This article was the first that I noticed. In all the stories you mentioned, none of them referred to the police being the source of the violence.
Errr!..I think you have the wrong president if you are concerned about flashing titties....
So, New Orleans police were way out of line, and of course, it's Bush's fault. The world has just gone insane.
BS ALERT !
These people will say anything for thier 3 minutes of fame.
This is a Brit who obviously hated Bush before he came. Since we cannot confirm whether the 'girls' were asked to show anything, or if they even existed, we can assume that his statement encompassing all police, etc. together with Bush was politically motivated drivel.
