This was just a "breaking" headline, just replaced with news of Michael Brown, but if it holds, is very good news....

I head that this morning on Fox and Friends. Mayor Ding Dong totally exaggerated the 10,000 amount.

12:10 P.M. - Police Chief Eddie Compass: No bodies of children found at Convention Center and no evidence of sexual assaults.

12:05 P.M. - Rescue official: No media will be allowed to photograph the recovery mission so that someone in a shelter, say in Houston, won't see a body being taken out of their home.

Bushs fault for fewer deaths.

You have that right. Some of us are glad that it is the case. Not the RATs.

Must be because all the corpses were eaten, as that flaming idiot claimed several days ago!

I was watching a program on 9/11 on the History channel last night. Jeeze the difference in the way people reacted on 9/11 compared to hurricane Katrina is like night and day!

I think redbadger was referring to the media hoping the death toll was high.

But the low death toll has to be Bush's fault!

Hmmm. Dick Cheney goes to New Orleans and all of a sudden 10,000 bodies are gone. Has Haliburton started serving Soylent Green to the Refugees? I'd better watch Plan 9 from Outer Space and report my findings on DU.

Like that's what Nagin is worried about people seeing....

Well, of course they are.

When the media was busy pointing the blame at George Bush, ballooning the death toll was beneficial to their cause.

Now that the facts are pointing blame at the Democratic Mayor and Democratic Governor, its imperative that death toll is minimal.

The MSM always hugely overdoes casualty figures in a disaster. Remember danny rather announcing "thousands" dead in the SF earthquake? RAT reporters always make up huge numbers to fit their sensationalistic reporting.

Good point, if Bush and Cheney were going to be held accopuntable for "ALL" the deaths, shouldn't they get credit for the low body count?

Oh no, here is what the media will do now, they will starting telling the story of how well the dems in charge handled the storm and act like they never said anything at all about Bush.

Great news! I've been sticking to my belief of less than 1,000 deaths in NOLA from the start! Rush is all over this now.

This makes Vitter look like a complete DOLT, and he's a GOPer.

I always thought the media was exaggerating the expected body count from the beginning. Like they did with the war in Iraq. Remember the 25,000 body bags that were being ordered by the Pentagon?

Well, there were 40,000 body bags being prepared for Operation Desert Storm, and 30,000 for 9/11 and now 25,000 for Katrina. I wonder if they are just moving the same body bags around, or if someone with connections owns a body bag company.

Thank God...You know I bet the Dems are really disappointed. It is sad and quite frightening to have a US Party that longs for the death of its citizens in order to prosper. I was hoping this would be the case. The media and the Dems are so hysterical, you can not believe anything they say.
