This shows why the Labor party lost so badly in the last elections and don't have a clue about anything. We are laughing pretty hard about this down here--I believe we will invade New Zealand first, then Hawaii, before making it up to New Orleans.
It was mostly a matter of confusion & being as how everything got cleared up once Bush got involved, it was probably smarter to wait.
OTOH, if I were a foreign govt., I would have likely sent agents (not secret & not troops) to get my people out.
They would not have need tanks just a couple of SUVs or minivans.
