Somehow BSE, TSE and CJD diseases come to mind. Nah, not those diseases. Nothing to worry about - yet. No cases of that yet. Monkey meat will only give you Ebola.

I beg to differ, these diseases are quite commonly found in brain cells and they are due to spontaneous transformation of normal prion proteins into abnormal prions. You will find the largest percentage of humans suffering from these neurological diseases in Oceania (which also happens to be home of last known cannibalistic tribes).
