DUBAI (AFP) - The group headed by Iraq's most wanted man Abu Musab al-Zarqawi hailed in an Internet statement what it said was the "start of the collapse" of the United States after the devastation caused by Hurricane Katrina.
"Congratulations to the Islamic nation, to our sheikh Osama abu Abdullah (Osama bin Laden).. and to sheikh Ayman Zawahiri (bin Laden's deputy) for the destruction of America, which is at the forefront of evil. It is the start of its collapse."
The statement, whose authenticity could not be confirmed, was referring to the hurricane that has devastated New Orleans and left thousands feared dead.
Thanks...it was the best I could think of and I love it too and I love Rush. :)
a great warrior dressed as a women hiding in a pile of camel dung
And you are right! He has done more for our country than anyone else. Think of the movie "Pay It Forward." If we take the info/truth we get from Rush and other internet sources, and tell that truth to 2-3 people every day, and they (in their shock and awe) tell 1-2-3 other people and so on, we will be doing a great thing.
I think instead of expecting the MSM or even Fox for that matter, to tell the truth, we have to do it.
I mean, how did they do it in the time of the American Revolution? It was a person to person gig. Grassroots.
One more thing I think we are forgetting. NO had some very inept leaders. Most of our cities wouldn't react like that.
New Orleans will begin to be up and running by the end of September. Stores will open, people will begin to rebuild.... and Home Depot stock will rise.
DU hopes for worse.
I cannot even imagine the leaders of my city acting as those in NO did on this occassion. If the bad politicians want to protect their fellow man where I live.
But that's just me thiniking that everyone I meet where I live would heed the effin warnings and get out of Dodge before noon if the gov'ment told me a cat 5 blos was coming.
I suppose it matters if you don;'t need to bring your dealers along with you wherever you go...
I buy you books and I buy you books and you tear out the pages and....
Obviously you mistake us for someone else, Abu Z.
Wow! Wouldn't that be a great team!
Sounds like something Jesse, Rev Al, Ted or Howie would say.
The scarry part is I fear he may be right...this does seem like the beginning of the collapse of the US.
They are, in Houston. All religions and sects are. They are putting aside the differing interpretations of the nature of God for the sake of civil relief. Even Buddhists, although they are quietly nonplussed on some level.
lol!!! great description!
Great team!! We've got to get Rush and Condi in there, too!!
Oh, let Rush keep doing what he's doing - Director of Media Relations for the Conservative Movement in America!
Condi - Secretary of State for another term!
Why don't they ask us, anyway? I think we have some great ideas!
Seems there is now a delay in getting Dem talking points to Zarqawi.
If they mistake the chaos in NO as typical of any other major urban city, they are wrong. Chaos yes, but I don't believe any other city in the nation could have produced this much mismanagement in the wake of a disaster.
Only fools think this country doesn't come back stronger after a disaster.
We can't lose sight of what happened. The disaster covered 90,000 sq. miles, equal to the state of Idaho.
But unlike every other flood in history, the water is still there, destroying everything.
With God's help, the city will rebuild. This country always comes back stronger after adversity.
