Just listened to a news interview with the mayor of NO. He is busy blaming the federal and state governments and the Iraq war for the problems in his city. Wants to commandeer greyhound buses to speed up the evacuation and other things. Listening to him he dosen't talk like an educated politician, more like a thug.

Heard the same interview and came to the same conclusions. I cannot for the life of me figure out why the mandatory evacuation was not started earlier.

The Mayor needs to stop yelling at everyone else, sit back and reflect on HIS mistakes. But, in typical welfare state culture, he will continue to blame someone else while waiting for his monthly handout.
