TAMPA BAY, August 31, 2005 (LifeSiteNews.com) - Ten year-old Joshua Heldreth, the eldest of eight children, was arrested on Good Friday of this year for trespassing while attempting to bring a drink of water to Miss Terri Schaivo. Days later Schiavo died of intentional dehydration. In court Joshua pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 25 hours of community service and ordered to write an apology for his actions.
The boy whose arrest photo was splashed on front pages of newspapers across the nation wrote in his apology letter, "I was arrested on Good Friday for trespassing on the hospice center's property . . . Not giving Mrs. Shiavo (sic) food or water was wrong. The reason I had to go on your property was because Jesus would do the same thing. It made me sad that she was so thirsty and it made Jesus sad too. I knew she would die without water and I am called by Jesus to be a defender of the defenceless. So I had to go on your property to try to bring her a drink."
Joshua added, "I am sorry that you didn't like that and wouldn't allow me to help save her life and one day you will have to tell God why. I won't be able to help you then like I tried to help her. I will pray for you every day . . ."
LifeSiteNews.com caught up with Joshua's father Scott Heldreth today. Scott told LifeSiteNews.com he is very proud of his son. "My son has amazed me through this whole thing," said Heldreth. The proud father said it was his son's own initiative to attempt to give the starving woman a glass of water, and despite the warning of his parents that he'd be arrested, the boy insisted. "He was the one who begged us to go down, because he wanted to give her a glass of water . . . We explained that police will never let you help . . . you'll be arrested, but he went anyways."
Pro-life leader Rev. Flip Benham of Operation Save America told LifeSiteNews.com that the whole pro-life movement shares Heldreth's pride in his son. Benham recalls the reaction of Heldreth on Good Friday as he watched his son being arrested: "When that all took place Scott was weeping, this father was weeping tears of joy seeing his son not only talk the Christian talk but walk the walk."
While the apology letter has been submitted, Heldreth told LifeSiteNews.com he's not completely sure it will be accepted.

Darn right. This a sleeping bag event. Seriously, the only book I will consider buying is something the parents might write. I even passed on the ex-cop. He was a little late IMO.

I've heard that sometimes the organs are removed without the family even knowing. I'm going to ask a friend, who owns a funeral home, how many people come in with their organs removed. How would the family even know if the organs were removed?
I did ask him if he got people who died of aids at his funeral home. He said he did and said no special provision is given for handling of the embalming for victims of aids. It seems that all the waste goes into the local sewage system. I was surprised to learn that.
Do you suppose the author, Michael Hirsh, will tell us his own reasons for supporting the murder of Terri Schiavo? I wonder what he was running away from that caused him and his wife to get in a car, drive until the road almost ran out, and build a whole new life there. That's not normal.
If that goes into the sewage system which sometimes merges with the water system in worst case scenarios, I'm thinking that I'll drink more bottled water, less tap water. just in case. We have to become survivalists but we don't have to start eating pine cones - yet. LOL

The problem with this should be obvious. Treating the patient is a heavy cost whereas harvested organs bring a huge return for the hospital. It is very profitable to harvest the organs instead of treating the patient. Would this sway medics to declare a living patient brain dead? You're darn right it would.
People think they are donating their organs to some sick person. What they are really doing is donating a great deal of money to the hospital.
To sign an organ donor card is a) to put your life in danger and b) to encourage corruption in the medical world.
And one more thing. If I am in the hospital and a candidate and somebody needs parts of my giblets, do I think they will even give me an aspirin before carving me up? If they gave me anything to ease the pain, maybe it would contaminate my spare part. I guess I would just have to watch and wince as they sawed it out.

Mr. Hirsh says that he connected with Michael "emotionally and politically" -- politically?! -- which is the opposite of facing the facts. We saw plenty of that in this forum. It will not lead to the truth.
As a parallel, Allen Weinstein set out to write a book proving the innocence of Alger Hiss (with whom he was emotionally and politically connected). He ended up finding Hiss guilty, and instead wrote what is still the definitive book on Hiss's treason, Perjury.
Mr. Hirsh is an amateur by comparison, but even a beginner might wonder why a healthy young woman was found near death one night with only her husband present. The autopsy eliminated the phony alibi Michael used so many years. How will Mr. Hirsh explain Terri's collapse?
Why don't they toss him overboard because Judge Greer committed felonies from the bench. I wonder how many people Greer is killing now who aren't brain dead. Terri's laughing on the last link I posted. She was murdered. The democrats simply watched while the rinos did it.
If Hirsh is successful coming up with an alibi for MS, there are scads of books waiting to be written:

Lizzie Borden: the truth.
