Does anyone remember a few weeks ago, at a Presidential news conference, when Scott McClellan (I think) was asked a question by a news reporter and it began with something like "On Fox News, a channel known for being supportive of your issues (or something like that)..." The media is jealous of the success of a competitor.

Yeah, I remember that, it was Terry Moran (or as I call him, Terry Moron) from ABC News. And it's true the only reason FNC looks to be a right-wing channel is because next to the far-left channels of CNN, MSNBC and the nets it does look conservative. What gets me is that people will say that someone like BO is conservative and that balances the nets or CNN or whatever, the difference is BO minces no words and lets everyone know his show is an opinion show, or "news analysis" as he puts it, we don't hear that from Rather or Williams or Aaron Brown even though their news casts are filled with as much opinion as BO's. I get annoyed when these network clowns sit behind a desk and pretend to be objective, just be honest, they're Dean/Moore liberals, so just say so!

Another reason why FNC can't be considered a "conservative news channel" is because they are hardly a news channel at all - holloway, runaway bride, peterman, all that junk isn't news. As long as FNC has about 22.5 hours/day of tabloid crap and 1.5 hours or news, they cannot be considered a news channel. H&C is supposed to be a political debate show, they haven't covered anything but tabloid stories since the election almost a year ago. I can understand having one hour of tabloid per night (Greta, LKL, Rita) but please give us some real world news once in a while!
