The nations will slooooooooooolwy offer words of condolences, but actual help, money and manpower (especially the money) will not flow here. We are such suckers. We give, and we never receive.
We should become isolationist and nationalistic like China and Russia. I admire China and Russia for watching out for their own nation, and for not sending their national treasury to foreign nations.
We need to adopt the Chinese/Russian model of national priorities.

To hell with that. As much as we've given to them over the decades, they should be providing as much assistance as possible to Louisiana and Mississippi and we should accept it.
