I found a site called Baptistwatch.org. They have plenty to say about this guy. They even have a write-up (kinda long - I only read part of it but that was enough)explaining how this guy became a monster. He was a lawyer and was disbarred. He has 13 kids, and was (is?) a terrible abuser. It's very sad and very sick. This guy should be in a mental ward.

I found one of my suspicions were justified:"The only congregants to stand by Phelps were George Stutzman and the Hockenbargers, Charles, Karl, and Charles William (called Bill by fellow congregants), members of the Christian Identity sect of the Ku Klux Klan, and the men's families."
